Burbage Riding Club Championship Show Qualification

All shows qualify you for the Club Championship on 14th October 2023

To qualify for the club championship you need to be placed 1st -4th in the class

Open to members & non members

Please hand your qualification forms in to the entry container no later than the 30th September

Main Showjumping Ring

9.00am – 10.00am – Clear Round 40cm ( heights can be changed if requested )

10.00 am Prompt Start:

Class 1-6 will be run single phase. Competitors will jump 12 fences. They will jump fences 1-7 (approx) and regardless of any faults, then carry straight onto the timed jump off for the remaining course

Sections A and B will be run at the same time in each class

 

Class 1 – 40cm 12 Years & Under

Class 2 – 50cm

Class 3A – 60cm Junior

Class 3B – 60cm Senior

Will not start before 12pm

Class 4A – 70cm Junior

Class 4B – 70cm Senior

Class 5A – 80cm Junior

Class 5B – 80cm Senior

Class 6 – 90cm Open

 

Little Big Stars Show jumping Ring – 10.00am Start

In this ring competitors will jump a simple course of 8-10 fences. This allows young riders to develop their competition skills as well as riding in a fun class

• Class 1 is Lead Rein only

• Section A and B will be run at the same time in each class

• Class 5 and 6 is open to Non Lead Rein only

 

Class 1 – Poles on the floor (10cm) – Lead Rein Only

Class 2 – Fun Class – To change each show

Class 3A – 20cm Cross Poles Lead Rein

Class 3B – 20cm Cross Poles Non Lead Rein

Class 4A – 30cm Cross Poles Lead Rein

Class 4B – 30cm Cross Poles Non Lead Rein

Class 5 – 40cm Non Lead Rein only

Class 6 – 50cm Non Lead Rein Only

Gymkhana 1pm Start

5 races per group

A group – 5 years and under – Trotting only

B group – 6/10 years ( lead rein only )

C group – 12 years and under

D group – Open Class ( non points )

 

Fun Showing – Open to all junior and seniors – 1:00pm Start

Class 2 – Hansomest Gelding

Class 3 – Judges Favourite

Class 4 – Happiest Pony & Rider

Class 5 -Prettiest Mare

Qualifiers for 2023 include:

  • ESUK This show is affiliated to Equine Sports UK (ESUK) Grassroots Championships taking place at Arena UK, Grantham, Lincolnshire on the 27th – 30th July 2023. The three highest placed exhibits will qualify in each class.
  • Equifest – This Show is affiliated to Equifest, taking place at the East of England Showground on the

The two highest exhibits not already qualified in each affiliated class will qualify.

  • Great Midland Horse Show

Classes will only be held for a maximum of 10 minutes. It is the competitors responsibility to ensure they are at the correct ring at the right time.

 

Classes maybe combined. This is at the judges discretion. Judges Decision is final.
